Hello!  My name is Michelle Yarborough and I am the music specialist at Meadow Wood Elementary. My goal is to help your children establish and develop musical skills through a fun and educational experience.

 

I hold a bachelor's degree in music education with an emphasis in the Kodaly philosophy from Texas Tech University, and two levels of Kodaly Certification from Portland State University.

 

This is my fifth year teaching elementary music.  I moved from Lubbock where I taught for three years after graduating from Texas Tech.  I grew up in Spring Branch ISD and graduated from Memorial High School.  This is my second year at Meadow Wood Elementary and I am loving it!
